Analogue audio equipment is surprisingly complex; damage in one part affecting others. When a fault occurs, we recommend a careful and thorough assessment of the entire unit in order to achieve optimal results – today, and into the future.

  • All boards (PCBs), mechanical assemblies, and removable parts are extracted.
The chassis is cleaned inside and out — no surface left untouched.

  • Faults are identified, but more importantly, their underlying causes are traced and confirmed to prevent recurring issues.

  • Faulty, aged, or unstable electronic components are replaced with modern, high-grade parts chosen for reliability, performance, and longevity. Power supplies are thoroughly inspected, voltages calibrated, and stability verified.

    • Old lubrication removed and replaced

    • Bearings inspected or replaced

    • Tape path cleaned and demagnetised

    • Brakes, torque, and pinch-roller pressure checked

    • All rubber parts replaced

    • Motors, transports, and mechanisms restored to spec

  • Once restored, the unit is carefully reassembled and brought back to operating precision through extensive calibration and alignment.

  • The unit undergoes thorough stress tests, functional checks, and extended runtime verification to ensure absolute reliability.

  • Your equipment is returned to its proud owner with a comprehensive service report and a detailed photographic log of all work completed.

Whether it’s a treasured personal unit or critical professional equipment, we can restore it to the performance it was designed to deliver.
